Kindergarten Interactive Math Journals: PART TWO!

Click to see PART ONE of these interactive math journals!

Each standard also comes with vocabulary flaps. I complete these with my students before we begin a new unit. We decide as a class what should go under each flap and how it will help us remember that new word. For example, some lessons we use pictures and others we use words. Each day, or as needed, we review what we came up with as a class.

A few of the activities will have loose journal items with a pocket to keep them.

This activity includes word problems for the teacher to read out loud to the class. This skill helps students become better at listening comprehension as well as processing what they've heard and recording it.

If you're ready to take the next step in trying interactive math journals, head over to my Teachers Pay Teachers store to grab a free trial of these activities.
